Where do I sign up?

Download, print out, and fill out the registration form from here. Then turn it into the high school or church office.

What should I bring (and shouldn’t bring :-)?

First, bring yourself (and a friend, too, if possible) ready to have fun, engage in Bible study, and worship. You’ll need your Bible and something to write with. You’ll also need relaxed clothes for the weekend (shorts are a must). Clothes for Sunday morning can be relaxed as well (e.g. blue jeans are fine). You can bring your cell phone, but don’t plan on using it; they are for emergency use only and so your parents can find you (not so you can text with your friends or surf the web). No video games, ereaders, or other electronic devices. And, of course, no knives, weapons, etc.

What should I wear (and not wear)?

The guiding principal for the dress code for DNow is casual, respectable, and modest. Clothing should not draw undue attention to yourself and not be provocative in nature such as too short, too tight, or offensive or vulgar in its wording or graphics.

To be a bit more specific, this means that shorts should not be too short nor too tight. As a general rule they should be at least half way down the thigh or longer. Skin tight clothing should not be worn. Low cut shirts/tops and shorts/tops that that exposes the midsection should not be worn.

What about transportation?

Students should be dropped off at the church (in the back by the gym) at the start time each day (don’t show up earlier…we won’t be ready for you) and picked up at the end time each day.

I still have questions!

The best way and quickest way to get a response is to send an email to the Church Office (info@thehillssa.org). You can also call the church office @ 210.674.5613. Be nice to Tracy! She’ll try to answer your question but may have to get an answer.
