Becoming a Member of The Hills Church

At The Hills we believe that essential to growing in Christ is belonging to a local body of Christ, to a local church. Belonging means that we make commitments to God and to one another as part of the local church.  We express this at The Hills by committing to one another through our membership covenant.

To become a member of The Hills Church, there are three essential steps:
  1. Salvation - You must be a born-again believer in Christ who has put your faith alone in Christ alone for your salvation from sin.
  2. Baptism - You then must have publicly profess that faith through the act of baptism after you have put your faith in Christ.
  3. Covenant - You must affirm the membership covenant of The Hills Church, committing to be an active member of The Hills.

Membership Covenant

Our Membership Covenant articulates what is true about us and we should be true about us both in who we are and how we live. It captures what it means to live together as a local body of Christ that seeks to "Glorify God through Transformed Lives" and what it looks like to "Know God. Love Others. Live the Gospel."
