Taking the Gospel to All People for Their Joy and God's Glory
At The Hills we believe that evangelism and missions are essential parts of being a follower of Christ. We believe this because evangelism and missions spreads the glory of God and brings joy to those who embrace the gospel. (Psa 16:11; Psa 67:4)
The Great Commission calls us to "go and make disciples of all nations." (Matt 28:19-20)
And in Acts 1:8 our Lord tells us we are to be "[His] witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and to the end of the earth." At The Hills we believe this means we need to proclaim the gospel of our Lord to all people, from our neighborhoods to our cities to our state to our country and even to the ends of the earth.

Every believer is called to personally share the gospel with others in their lives. The gospel is not to be withheld or hidden from others but shared with others so that they might be saved from their sin and gain eternal life of joyously knowing God. To learn more about how we share the gospel with other people, visit our Evangelism page.
Part of our call as Christians and the church is to minister and spread the gospel where we live. This means we take the gospel to our neighborhood, our city, our state, and our country. To learn more about how we support local missions in San Antonio, in Texas, and in the United States visit our Missions page.
Missions extends to all peoples and all nations. The gospel should be taken to every people group in every nation. You can learn more about the missions we give to on our Missions page, and how we are directly involved in global missions on our Honduras page.
