A DEFENSE OF GOD'S SOVEREIGN GLORY

What About Evil? Conference 2023

A tsunami wipes out over 200,000 people. Terrorists fly airplanes into the Twin Towers killing over 3,000. A man abandons his wife and children for another woman. A mom of 4 is diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. The world is filled with evil, some of it natural and some of it perpetrated by human beings. So if God is good and also sovereign over all things, how do we explain the existence of evil and suffering? Where does it come from, why does God allow it, and what hope do we really have in the face of it? Pastor and author Scott Christensen walks us through what the Bible has to say about some of the most difficult questions in life.
